Preparation of Glucose Standard Solution
Glucose Standard Solution:
Dissolve 0.10 g of glucose (Dextrose) in a saturated solution of benzoic acid in water, dilute to 100 mL with the saturated benzoic acid solution (Saturated benzoic acid solution : Dissolve the 50 g Benzoic Acid in the 750 ml Propylene Glycol and add sufficient Purified Water, in small quantities and with constant stirring, to produce 1000 mL.) and dilute 2 mL of this solution to 100 mL with water.
Glucose Standard Solution contains 20 µg of glucose per mL.
