Preparation of Acetaldehyde Standard Solution

Acetaldehyde Standard Solution (100 ppm C2H4O):
Dissolve 1.0 g of  acetaldehyde in 2-propanol and dilute to 100.0 mL with the same solvent. Dilute  5.0 mL of the solution to 500.0 mL with 2-propanol. Prepare immediately before  use. 
Acetaldehyde Standard Solution (100 ppm C2H4O) R1:
Dissolve 1.0 g of acetaldehyde in water and dilute to 100.0 mL with the same solvent. Dilute 5.0  mL of the solution to 500.0 mL with water. Prepare immediately before use.
