Nitrate Standard solution preparation:
Nitrate Standard Solution (100 ppm NO3):
Immediately before use, dilute with water to 10 times its volume a solution containing potassium nitrate equivalent to 0.815 g of KNO3 in 500.0 mL.
Nitrate Standard Solution (10 ppm NO3):
Immediately before use, dilute nitrate standard solution (100 ppm NO3) to 10 times its volume with water.
Nitrate Standard Solution (2 ppm NO3):
Immediately before use, dilute nitrate standard solution (10 ppm NO3) to 5 times its volume with water.
Nitrite Standard Solution (20 ppm NO2):
Dissolve 0.6 g of sodium nitrite in sufficient water to produce 100 mL and dilute 1 mL of this solution to 200 mL with water.
